Pokemon GO - Over 80 New Pokemon Trailer

Pokémon Go isn't far from its first anniversary and it's finally getting a new batch of non-egg pocket monsters

A new video released today on the official channel of Pokemon Go reveals the upcoming update will add more than 80 new Pokemon in the game. These new Pokemon include Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Skarmory, Donphan, and many more. Speaking of items, two new berries will be making their way into the game - Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries.

Baby Pokemon from the Johto region were added in December.

"Pokémon GO" is available for both iOS and Android and allows you to rediscover the world of Nintendo creatures in a way never seen before, moving these small animals into our world to capture them in different geographic locations and challenge other players conquering their gyms. As well as this, there'll be gender-specific variations on certain Pokemon and there'll be new evolutions for Pokemon as well.

Sonos becomes latest tech firm to announce post-Brexit price increases
"Over recent months, there has been a significant change on the U.S. dollar to GBP [GB pounds] exchange rate. Other products like the Sonos Connect and Connect: Amp will also be getting a substantial price increase.

The highlight? 80 brand-new Pokemon to rope players back in. Will it get you playing the game again, or are you one of the few that never stopped playing? Additional items will be available for purchase from the in-game shop.

Seeing Pokemon from Gold and Silver take to the wild is a welcome addition to what has been a sorely stagnating few months from the team behind the once viral app. The encounter screen will also have item carousels that let players easily select berries and Poke Balls without scrolling through the item menu.

What are your thoughts on this major update to Pokemon GO? Finally, the update will add much-anticipated (and requested) wardrobe and avatar customization options. With this new update set to release sometime this week, we can only hope that more gameplay mechanics like Trading and Trainer Battles are in the works.
