Melania Trump Is Apparently 'Miserable' As FLOTUS - Surprised?

Donald Trump is sworn in as the 45th president of the United States as Melania Trump looks

If the current round of reports are to be believed, Melania Trump, wife of US President Donald, is "miserable" in her new role as First Lady of the United States.

Life as FLOTUS is a bit of a gilded cage and being a public servant probably isn't what the former model had in mind when she married the significantly older billionaire. "Can you tell us all the things Melania does for the country?" the reporter asked, to which Trump replied, "That is what I call a nice question". She continues to stay in her NY apartment, while her 10-year old son, Barron, finishes school. "It was Donald's", says Phillip Bloch, a stylist for and friend of The Trumps.

Adding: 'Truthfully, it's a lot to cope with'.

And then there's her libel suit against the UK's Daily Mail, with the tabloid suggesting the first lady had once worked as a high end escort?

The idea that the portly president could climb up Melania's hair, no matter how firmly the extensions are anchored, beggars the imagination.

While presidential spouses in the USA traditionally accompany their foreign counterparts, the Japanese first lady, Akie Abe, was left to make several stops in Washington DC on her own. An accent that has seen her 'skeeeeweeered on ze late night talq zhows'.

"Melania has the Secret Service take Barron to school and retrieve him", an unnamed source said. "They're doing this because they feel it, both of them", Trump said of his 35-year-old daughter and the first lady.

John Quincy Adams's wife Louisa, the only other foreign-born first lady prior to Melania (she was a native of England, though her father was American), entered the White House in poor health and suffered from depression.

The First Lady was recently photographed over the weekend in Del Ray Beach, accompanying Akie Abe, the wife of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, to a local church and posing for pictures.

Nevertheless sources say even that was a struggle and a chore.

The most tragic of the unhappy first ladies was Jane Appleton Pierce, who saw her last surviving child, a boy, killed before her eyes in a train accident on the way to Washington.

"Don't let her smile fool you", the family source said.
